Baithul Mal Foundation

You can find Baithul Mal Foundation over near the police training camp. We are at 12/322 in Kolapparamba P.O., just a bit outside of Manjeri via the main road. It’s a decent area, and being near the camp makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. We’ve been running things from here for some time now. It’s not a big operation. We have a small space where we keep our records and meet with people who need assistance. We aren't interested in being some big, famous organization. We just want to do right by the people in our community. Most of our days are spent talking to locals and figuring out how to distribute what we have to the people who need it most. It’s practical, hands-on work. Sometimes the office is a mess with all the donations we're sorting, but we get through it. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a receptionist. We answer the phones ourselves and open the door when someone knocks. We just try to be honest and helpful. If we can't do something, we say so. But if we can, we get it done as fast as we can. It’s just how we were raised and how we think a foundation should run. Manjeri is a good place to be, and we're glad to be part of the local life here. I hope people feel comfortable coming to us.
