Baby Memorial Hospital

This Baby Memorial Hospital is located at Madapally House in the Vettom P.O. area. It’s a bit tucked away compared to the big city hospitals, which actually makes it a lot more peaceful for the families who stay with us. Vettom is a nice area, and we’ve built our routine around the local community here. The building itself has a bit of a homey feel, probably because it’s part of Madapally House. We don't have those sterile, cold hallways that you find in the massive medical centers. Instead, it’s a bit more laid back, though we still take our work very seriously. We help with births, take care of sick children, and give advice to new parents who are often a bit overwhelmed. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so there’s a real sense of being part of the neighborhood. We have a few rooms for patients and a small area for the doctors to do their consultations. On rainy days, the sound on the roof is quite loud, but it’s sort of comforting in a way. We don't use any fancy language or corporate slogans here. We just show up every morning, check on our patients, and make sure everyone is doing okay. It’s a simple setup, but it’s been working for the people of Vettom for a long time. We’re just glad to be a part of the local life here, and we plan to stay here at Madapally House for as long as we are needed.
