Arogya Foods & Herbals

We are located in Padinhattummuri, which is under the Kootilangadi post office in Malappuram. Arogya Foods & Herbals is basically a small place where we handle different food items and herbal things. It is a quiet area mostly. We spend our mornings sorting through what comes in from the local growers. The smell of dried herbs can be quite strong sometimes in the small rooms where we keep everything. We do not have any big corporate structure here, just a few of us making sure the bags are packed right. Malappuram has a lot of greenery and that reflects in what we do. The road outside gets a bit muddy when it rains, which happens a lot. We have a small desk for paperwork but most of the work happens on the floor with the scales and the packing materials. It is not a flashy business. We just try to get the orders out to the people who need them. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a bit longer to find us because the lanes around Kootilangadi can be a bit confusing if you are not from around here. We have a small board outside the door so people know they have reached the right spot. It gets humid in the afternoons so we keep the fans running all the time. We just do our work day by day and try to keep things clean and organized as much as possible in a small space.
