Ok Exporters

Ok Exporters is situated right by the Airport Junction in Kondotty. It is a noisy place because the planes are always taking off and landing nearby. You get used to the sound after a week or two, though. Being so close to the Calicut Airport Post makes it easy for us to handle our shipping and paperwork. We spend a lot of our time in the warehouse area, moving boxes and checking labels. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially under the metal roof. We usually keep the big fans running, but they just move the warm air around. There is no point in trying to look professional when you are sweating through your shirt. We just focus on getting the crates packed and the trucks loaded on time. Sometimes the traffic at the junction is a total mess and the drivers get frustrated because they are stuck in the sun. We just give them some tea and wait for the road to clear up. It is a lot of logistics and counting things twice to make sure we didn't miss anything before the truck leaves. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign out front. People who need to find us usually know where we are located. It’s just a regular business doing regular work every day. We don't make a big deal out of what we do here. Most of us have been here for a long time.
