Mohammed Ali Gour & Sons

Our business, Mohammed Ali Gour & Sons, is situated at Plot No-45. We are right near the Railway Mal Godown, so we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It’s a very specific part of town where everything revolves around the railway and the goods being moved. We’ve been here for a long time, and the family has always been involved in the daily operations. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the activity at the godown, but it’s where we belong. We don't have a big team, just enough of us to handle the work and talk to the people who stop by. We spend a lot of time outside on the plot, checking our stock and making sure things are organized. It’s not a fancy setup. We have an old desk and some chairs for when people want to sit and discuss things. The sound of the shunting engines is just background noise to us now. We know the neighbors well and we all kind of look out for each other in this industrial pocket. People find us because they know the landmark of the railway yard. We just do our work, handle the orders, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life built around this plot of land near the tracks. We don't need much more than that to keep us going.
