Ajeet Kumar & Co. is based right here in the Makhdumpur block. Our office is near the police station, which is a very easy landmark for anyone looking for us. We have been part of this village and the wider Makhdumpur area for a long time. It is a small operation. We handle local work and help people out with various requirements they have. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people coming and going. The building we use is quite old and has that classic village look to it. We do not have air conditioning or fancy glass walls like the offices in the city. It is just wooden desks, some chairs, and a lot of paper. Sometimes the cows wander onto the road out front, and things get a bit slow for a while. We spend our days dealing with local matters and talking to people who walk in with questions. It is not a fast-paced corporate life. We take our time to listen to what people need. My brothers and I run the place together mostly. We know the area well since we grew up in this tehsil. It is just a local business trying to stay steady. We do not make big promises, we just show up and do the work that needs doing. It has been our way for years now and it seems to work. We usually close up and head home for dinner.
