The Facilitators

If you are looking for The Facilitators, you have to head down to Yadav Nagar in Kuraoli. We are on the South Ghiror Road, right there at Fardkhana. It is out in the Mainpuri district of U.P., so it is a bit different from the big city life in Delhi. The pin code is 205265. Life moves a bit slower here which is nice most of the time. Our building is right on the road so we see the tractors and the local buses going past all day. It gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We have a simple setup inside. Just some tables and chairs and the usual stuff you need to run a place. It’s not some high-tech office with neon lights. We just open up in the morning and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two but we are used to that. We just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. Everyone around here knows each other. It’s a small community in Yadav Nagar. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we are not. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes people stop by just to say hello while they are heading to Ghiror. That is just how it is here in Kuraoli. It’s home for us. The sun sets early behind the fields in the winter. We just lock up and go home when the day is done.
