Shyam Traders

We are set up over in Hiramanpur, right near the Bharat Gas Agency and the local post office. It’s a pretty convenient spot for us because almost everyone in the area knows where the gas agency is located. We’ve been running this trading business for quite a while now. The shop is usually packed full of various items, and sometimes it's honestly hard to find a clear place to sit down. We spend a lot of our time just talking to the folks who stop by to see what's new. It’s a very social kind of job, which we don't mind. We don't have any big mission statements or goals written on the wall. We just open the doors every morning and see who needs what. Being near the post office means there’s a lot of regular foot traffic outside. We see our neighbors and friends every day. It’s a very friendly atmosphere here in Hiramanpur. We keep our records in big handwritten books and try our best to stay on top of the inventory. Sometimes we run out of things much faster than we thought we would. That’s just the way it goes in this business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We're just a local business providing what the community needs. The building is simple and we’ve fixed it up a little bit over the years. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but we don't mind.
