Gopal Brush is right in the middle of Sanjay Nagar in the Main Market area. If you know where the Shiv Mandir is, then we are very easy to find. It’s a lively part of Mundra and there is always something going on outside our doors. The bells from the temple and the sound of the market vendors make for a noisy day, but we like the energy. We make and sell brushes here. It’s a straightforward business. We have rows of different sizes and types piled up. People come in looking for something specific for their homes or shops, and we usually have it somewhere in the stacks. Being in the main market means we have to be ready for customers at any hour. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have, right up to the ceiling. My family has been around this area for a long time. We’ve seen the market grow and the roads get paved. It feels good to be part of the daily life here in Mundra. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one that the locals can count on. When the temple has a festival, the whole street gets blocked, and we just sit outside and enjoy the view. It’s a good life, even if it gets a bit dusty and crowded sometimes. We just keep making our brushes.
