Our place is on Udhog Nagar Road, tucked right behind the H.P. Petrol Pump. You can usually smell the petrol fumes when the wind blows the right way. It is a very industrial part of town. Since we handle vegetable exports, things can get pretty messy during the peak season. There are always crates being stacked up and moved around by the guys. The floors are concrete and they get a lot of wear and tear from the trolleys. We have a small office section in the front, but the back area is where most of the activity happens. It is not the kind of place where you would wear fancy shoes because of all the mud and debris from the produce. Our day starts very early, often before the sun is even up, to catch the freshest arrivals. The staff is used to the long hours and the physical work involved. It is a practical building, nothing more. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that for visitors. If someone comes to see us, they usually just walk straight into the loading area. The petrol pump next door is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. This makes it easy for the truck drivers to find us. We have been working out of this spot for a long time and it suits the needs of a vegetable export business. It is a hard-working environment and we like it that way.
