Chandrashekhar Azad Public School

Chandrashekhar Azad Public School is out in Birdha, about 15 kilometers away from the main part of Lalitpur. It’s a bit of a journey to get here, but it’s where we are needed. The school is a simple building, nothing too fancy at all. We are surrounded by a lot of open space, which is nice for the kids. They have plenty of room to run around during their breaks. Since we are a bit far out, things are generally quiet around the school. We have the usual classrooms with wooden desks and blackboards. The teachers often travel from Lalitpur or live in the nearby village area. We don't have a lot of resources, but we make do with what we have. The students are mostly from the local farming families. They are hardworking kids who value their time in the classroom. We don't have a big admin team; usually, it's just a couple of us handling everything from admissions to repairs. Sometimes the roof needs a bit of work after a heavy rain, or we need to get new chalk for the rooms. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We don't use any marketing tricks to get students. Parents bring their children here because they know we are here every day, doing what we can to teach them what they need to know. It is a humble place, but it works for us and the people in Birdha. We just keep going, year after year.
