Tripathy Building Material

If you go down to the Main Market in Khanna, you’ll find us right in front of the bus stand. Tripathy Building Material is the name. We are also quite close to the police chowky, which makes it easy to give directions to people who aren’t from around here. It’s a noisy spot with all the buses coming and going, but it’s good for business. We have piles of stuff everywhere because building materials take up a lot of room. Cement, bricks, and whatever else people need for their houses. The dust gets on everything, no matter how much we sweep. It’s hard work, moving heavy bags and loading trucks all day. My brother and I run the place. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of traffic on the main road, but we manage. Khanna is a busy town, and there’s always someone building something new. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest. You get to know the contractors and the local workers pretty well. We don’t have a fancy showroom. What you see is what you get. Just stacks of materials and a small desk where we keep the ledger. It works for us and it works for the folks in Khanna who need to get their projects finished. We just want to get through the day and make sure the customers get what they ordered.
