Swami Hyundai

Our place is out on NH 27, near the turn for Hamirpur Tauni on the Sagar Road. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people just passing through. It’s a big building, mostly used for looking at cars and getting them serviced. We have a workshop in the back where the mechanics spend most of their time. It’s often quite noisy with the sound of air tools and engines running. We aren't really the type to wear suits and act fancy. Most of us are just regular guys who know about engines. The location is a bit out of the way from the main town center, but it gives us plenty of space for the cars. We have a lot of vehicles parked outside in the lot. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets into everything, so we have to keep cleaning the glass. It’s a long day out here. We start early and sometimes stay late if a customer is coming from far away. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news while waiting for people to stop by. The coffee machine in the corner works most of the time, which is lucky. We try to keep things simple and just answer people's questions when they walk in. It's a straightforward business. No big speeches or anything, just cars and repairs. The wind can get pretty strong across the open road here, blowing papers around if we aren't careful with the windows.
