Apoorv Enterprises

Our shop is right in front of Ambedkar Park at Aala Chowk. It’s a nice spot because we can see the park from the door. We handle a variety of items here, acting as a general enterprise for the local community. It’s a simple setup with some shelves and a counter where we talk to people who stop in. Most of the day is spent managing our stock and talking to suppliers. We are not a big corporation, just a local business trying to provide what people need in this part of town. The traffic at Aala Chowk can get a bit much in the evenings, but during the day it’s alright. We have a few people helping out with the daily chores like cleaning and arranging the items. We don't follow any complicated business models. We just open the shop in the morning and stay until it’s time to head home. The park across the street brings a lot of people by, so we see a lot of faces throughout the day. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. We don't really do any advertising. Word of mouth seems to work well enough for us. It’s a basic business and we like keeping it that way without any fuss. Sometimes we just sit outside for a minute to get some fresh air from the park nearby.
