Being out here in a village like Vadagam means life is a bit slower than in the big cities. We specialize in roofing work, which is a tough job when the Gujarat sun is beating down on you. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we store our tools and talk to customers. Most people around here know us by name. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big advertisements. We just rely on people seeing the roofs we've put up on houses and sheds in the neighborhood. The air is a lot fresher out here than in Ahmedabad or Vadodara, which we appreciate. Sometimes the cows from the local farms wander near our entrance, and we just have to wait for them to move.
