Wapcos India Ltd. is a Government of India undertaking. Our specific office here is at Ghaghret, in the Ta-Visnagar area. This is in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, with the pin 384315. It’s a bit of a distance from the big cities, but it’s where we need to be. The surroundings are mostly rural and quiet compared to a place like Ahmedabad. We work out of a building that is functional and does what we need it to do. Being a government-linked office, we have a lot of paperwork and official stuff to stay on top of. The people working here are mostly locals from the Mehsana district. We know the roads around Visnagar pretty well. In the summer, it gets really dry and hot, so we try to do most of the heavy work early in the day. There isn't much in the way of big malls or fancy cafes nearby, so we usually bring our own lunch or get something from the small shops in Ghaghret. We have been at this location for a while now. It’s a straightforward environment. We follow the rules, do our tasks, and make sure the files are in order. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s important work for the area. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily requirements of the office. Our team is small but we stay very busy with the paperwork.
