Sthapati Architecture And Interiors Pvt Ltd, or the Sthapati Group as some call us, is based in Mehsana. We are at 20, New Maheshwari Society. If you are coming from the railway station, we are quite close by. Being near the station means we hear the trains a lot, which you get used to after a week or two. Kadi-382715 is a place where people know each other, and we are part of that local fabric. Our office is where the drawings happen and where the interior plans get sorted out. It’s not a huge studio, but it has enough space for our tables and computers. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking about materials. The society is a decent place to work from. There’s usually someone coming in to ask about a renovation or a new building. We don’t have a big marketing team; we just do the work and word gets around. Sometimes it’s dusty because of the construction nearby, but that’s just part of the job. We have our coffee breaks and we talk about the local news. It’s a practical way to run a business. We try to be helpful to anyone who stops by the Maheshwari Society office. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking and then drawing it all out. We like being in Mehsana, away from the bigger city noise. It is our daily routine.
