If you find yourself in Kheralu and you are looking for a way to get around, you will probably end up near the Garden Market on Station Road. That is where we are, at shop number thirteen. It is a lively part of town, especially on market days when everyone is out. We have been running this travel service for a good while, helping people get their bus tickets and figure out the best way to travel to the bigger cities. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in off the street. They might be going to Mehsana or maybe somewhere further like Surat or Mumbai. We have our schedules pinned up on the wall, and we do our best to keep everyone informed. The office is small, just enough room for a few people to stand and talk. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We are just local people helping other local people. Sometimes the phones are ringing non-stop, and other times it is quiet enough to have a long chat with a customer about their family. We like the pace of life here in Kheralu. Station Road can get pretty cluttered with cycles and carts, but that is just the charm of being near the Garden Market. We have seen many businesses come and go, but we have managed to stay put at our spot. We just take things one day at a time.
