If you go to Mehsana and look for the PWD Staff Quarters, you will find me at number 4. It’s right opposite the District Panchayat Office. I’ve been working from this spot for quite some time now. My name is Sachin R. Shah, and this is where I handle all my affairs. The 384001 area is a familiar place for me, and I’ve seen a lot of changes around here over the years. My office is basically just a room with what I need to work—a desk, some pens, and a lot of folders. Being near the government offices means there’s always people moving around outside. I don't have a big team or a secretary. It’s just me doing the work, making the calls, and keeping everything in order. It gets a bit lonely sometimes, but it’s easier to stay focused that way. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they have to be. People know where I am if they need me. The quarters are old, but they are sturdy, and they serve their purpose well. I usually start early before the sun gets too hot. By the time the Panchayat office gets busy, I’m already deep into my tasks. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Mehsana, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I just write down what needs writing and move to the next thing on my list.
