Nishi Ice Cream Private Limited is located over at Avni Park Society. If you know Karan Nagar Road in Kadi, then you know where we are. It’s a busy little spot in Mahesana. We make ice cream, which is a lot of work when the weather gets really warm. Our place is at number 8. It isn't a massive factory or anything, just a local business trying to keep things cold. Most days start early because we have to get the machines going before the sun is too high. Everyone here knows each other. We talk about the weather and how many tubs we need to fill. Sometimes the delivery trucks are a bit late because of the traffic on the main road, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world. We just make the stuff and send it out. It's been like this since we started. The neighbors are used to us being here by now. Being in Gujarat, everyone loves a cold treat, so we stay pretty busy all year round. We just focus on the containers and making sure the fridge is running right. It gets messy sometimes, with milk or sugar, but that’s just how it goes. No one wears suits here. We just wear what's comfortable and get to work. That's life at Nishi. We are just a bunch of regular people making something everyone likes to eat.
