Hardik Hair Style is located in Sagthala, which is part of the Kheralu Taluka area near Vadodara. It’s a bit different out here compared to the main city center. Things are much quieter, and we know almost everyone who lives in the village. The shop is a modest one, just a single room with the basic equipment we need for haircuts. We don't have fancy revolving chairs or big neon signs. It’s mostly just a wooden chair and a mirror that has been there for years. The dust from the road outside comes in sometimes when the wind blows, so we are always dusting things off. People here don't want anything complicated. They come in for a standard cut or a shave and we have a chat about the crops or the local news. We don't have fixed hours sometimes; if someone knocks on the door, we open up. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been serving the people of Sagthala for a long time, and we don't feel the need to change how we work. The shop is a place where men gather to talk while they wait. It is a very practical business. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just cutting hair and being part of the community here in Kheralu. It is a quiet life but it keeps us busy enough throughout the month.
