Gujcot Enterprises Llp is tucked away in the Vevan Ni Khadki area of Kadi, near Luharkui. We are in the Mahesana district. Our office is in one of those older parts of town where the lanes are quite narrow. You can’t really bring a big car right up to the door easily. We work in the cotton trade, which has been the lifeblood of Kadi for generations. Our building is an old one, with thick walls that keep the heat out during the summer months. It’s a very local atmosphere here. We know the names of all the people who live and work on this street. We don't have a modern office with cubicles. Instead, we have a few big desks and a lot of space for samples. We spend our days meeting with local traders and checking on the quality of the cotton coming in. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk over tea. We don't really do the corporate thing with fancy reports. We just keep our books updated and make sure our customers are happy with what they get. Kadi is a small place, so reputation is everything. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we’re quite content with our spot in the Khadki. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and it suits us just fine. Every day feels pretty much like the one before it.
