Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd

We've been here at Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd in Mehsana for a while now. The workshop is over on this side of Gujarat. It gets pretty hot during the summer, but we keep things moving at the site. Most of the people working here are locals from around the 384315 area. We handle a lot of the manufacturing work that comes through. Sometimes it's noisy and the floor gets dusty, but that’s just how a factory floor is. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and the machines out back. People stop by sometimes to ask about parts or just to see what we're making this week. We have a small tea stall nearby where everyone goes during the break. It's a steady routine. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There's a lot of metal and heavy stuff being moved around daily. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them on the fly. It isn't always perfect, but we get the job done. The guys know the machines inside out by now. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, more trucks on the road than before. Still, the work stays pretty much the same. We just focus on what’s in front of us. No big speeches, just day-to-day labor. If you’re ever driving through this part of Gujarat, you’ll probably see our sign out by the road.
