Fortune Panel Systems(India) Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 113 in the GIDC Estate-2 at Dediyasan. We are situated near the Janta Way Bridge, which is the main landmark we tell people to look for. Being in a GIDC estate means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. There’s a lot of metal noise and the sound of heavy machinery all day long. We work with panel systems, so our space is mostly filled with large parts and tools. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment. The dust from the industrial area is a constant thing we have to deal with. We have a small office section at the front of the plot, but most of the action happens in the back where we handle the actual systems. The Janta Way Bridge is usually congested, so we have to plan our deliveries around the peak hours. It’s not a place where you’d come for a tour; it’s just a working industrial plot. We have a few guys who have been here since we started at Plot No. 113. We don’t really have any big meetings or corporate stuff, just a lot of manual work and checking the schedules. It gets pretty hot under the shed in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and keep working through the day's tasks. We usually keep a large container of cold water near the workbench for everyone to use.
