Out here at 167, Gidc Ranasan, things stay pretty busy for A D Foodds. Mehsana can get really hot in the summer months, so we are always trying to keep the facility cool while we work. Tahlika Vijapur is a place where people know each other, and we have a lot of locals who come in and out during the day. We are mostly focused on the food we handle and making sure the bags and boxes are stacked right. There’s always a smell of something being processed in the air. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We have some plastic chairs, a few old desks, and a lot of floor space for the inventory. Most of us have been working in Gidc for a long time so we’re used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. Trucks come in from the main road and we have to get them loaded fast so they can get back out before the traffic gets bad. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of living and working. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the daily grind in Dist. Mehsana. We make sure the floor is swept and the gates are locked at night.
