Our office for Varuna Roadlines Pvt. Ltd is situated in the village of Kheri-Talwana in Haryana. It is right there at the V,P,O. If you are looking for us, you will find us in a pretty quiet part of the district. We are basically a trucking company, so the office is mostly there to support the fleet. It is a simple building with a lot of open space around it for the lorries. Inside, the walls are painted a dull color and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We have a couple of computers for the logging and a lot of registers for the manual entries. Most of the guys working here have been with the company for a long time. It feels more like a big family than a corporate office. We talk a lot about the roads and the different routes through Haryana and beyond. The weather is a big topic, especially when it gets foggy in the winter and the trucks have to slow down. We do not have a professional cleaning crew or a high-end coffee bar. Usually, one of the guys just makes a big pot of tea for everyone in the morning. It is a very grounded way to work. We do not use any big words or have complicated meetings. We just figure out where the loads need to go and make sure they get there. It is just a regular life in a Haryana village office.
