Shree Neelkanth Restaurant

Shree Neelkanth Restaurant is located on N H-8 in Bawal, specifically around Saban Chowk in Rewari. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different faces every day. Truck drivers, families on trips, and locals from Bawal all come here. The place is built for utility. We have enough space for people to stretch their legs after a long drive. It’s not decorated with expensive art or anything. We just have plain walls and sturdy furniture. The kitchen works around the clock because the highway never sleeps. We make traditional food that fills the stomach. Sometimes the service is a bit slow if a big group arrives at once, but we do our best. The chai is something people usually ask for. We use a lot of ginger and cardamom in it. It's dusty outside because of the trucks, so we are always wiping down the tables. We don't have a fancy entrance. It's just a door and a sign. I think people like that we are predictable. You know what you’re going to get. We don't change the menu every week. It’s been mostly the same since we opened. We are just a stop on the road for most people. If you are driving through Rewari, you might spot us near the chowk. We are just here doing our thing and keeping the stove hot for whoever stops by.
