Majra Constructions Private Limited is based in our village, Majra Khurd. We get our mail at the Mahendergarh post office. Being in a small village means we work differently than the companies in the big cities. Most of our clients are people we’ve known our whole lives. We started this business because we wanted to provide solid construction work for our own community. We don’t have a big glass office; usually, we just meet people at the site or they come by the house. It’s a very simple way of doing things. We don’t use any of those corporate phrases or big promises. Our work is our advertisement. If you walk through the village, you can see the houses we’ve built over the years. Some days are really tough, especially when we have to haul materials out to remote locations or deal with the peak summer heat. We spend a lot of time making sure we have enough sand and cement and that the laborers are doing things correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes we get quite tired, but it’s a good feeling to see a house finished. We don’t have a marketing team or a website; we just rely on people talking to each other. We’re just local builders trying to do an honest job and support our families here in the Mahendergarh area. It’s a quiet but busy life.
