Our office is located in the Govt Employee Colony in Mohinder Garh, right near the National High School. If you are from around here in Haryana, you probably know the area because of the school. We are a joint venture, and our office is set up in a building that looks more like a house than a typical office block. It has a small gate and a bit of a yard where we park our bikes and cars. Because we are near the school, we hear the bells and the kids playing during the day, which gives the place a bit of life. Inside, the rooms are filled with desks and maps of our construction sites. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to do our jobs. The furniture is pretty basic and we’ve had it for years. Most of our work involves planning and going over contracts, so it is usually a quiet place until someone starts a loud discussion about a project. We like being in the colony because it feels safe and settled. Our address is in the 123029 area, and most people find us without much trouble. We don’t have a big corporate feel at all. It is just a group of us working together in a regular neighborhood. We take our tea breaks outside when the weather is nice. It is a simple way to run a business.
