We are located at Kh No-361/26, right near the Kanina Road bus stand in the Nangal Mundi area of Dahina. Hira Lal, Gharsi Ram’s son, oversees this spot too. It’s tucked away a bit on this specific plot of land but still close enough to all the action of the bus station. The ground around here is mostly dirt and gravel, so it can get a bit messy when it rains. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. It’s a simple building made of brick and mortar, nothing too impressive to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s all about the daily routine of preparing everything. We have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the small space we have. There’s always a bit of a hustle when the morning buses start arriving. The air is often thick with the smell of exhaust from the road mixed with whatever we are cooking. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know the job well. We handle the cleaning, the cooking, and the stocking all ourselves. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but we’re part of the local scene here in Dahina now. People know where to find us when they’re passing through. We just try to stay organized and keep up with the people coming through the door every day. It’s a straightforward life.
