Out here in Duloth Jat, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Our place, Anu Rama Foods, is tucked away in Mandi Ateli in the Mahendragarh district. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly fields and local shops. We set up this industry here because it’s where we belong. It’s 123021 for the mail, but most people just know the landmarks around the village. We handle a lot of food processing and it’s a bit of a dusty job sometimes, but it’s good work. The local guys come in early and we get the machines running. There isn't much to say about our history other than we wanted to start something of our own in this part of Haryana. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the roads get muddy after the rain, but we manage. We aren't some giant corporation with hundreds of branches. It’s just this one spot in Duloth Jat where we focus on our products. Most of our neighbors are farmers or have small businesses like ours. We spend a lot of time just checking the quality of what comes in from the local mandis. It’s practical work. No fancy slogans here, just a lot of sacks being moved and people making sure everything is clean and ready for the market. It keeps us busy from morning till sunset. We just do what needs doing.
