Manogna Traders

Our spot is over in Paladugu, which is part of the Medikondur area in Guntur. If you know the roads around here, you know it gets quite dusty when the trucks go by. We’ve been operating Manogna Traders from this location for some time now. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. There is a lot of back and forth with loading and unloading stuff. We don’t have a massive crew, so everyone just chips in where they can. The office part is a bit small and cluttered with notebooks and old receipts, but we know where everything is. Usually, there’s a radio playing somewhere in the background. It’s mostly local news or some songs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are passing through Guntur. Sometimes the shipments are late and we just have to sit and wait, maybe have some coffee. It is not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. The floor needs a sweep pretty much every hour because of the dirt from the yard. We’ve gotten used to the noise of the traffic nearby. It’s just a regular trading business, nothing fancy at all. We do our work, talk to the regulars, and head home when the shutters go down. It gets the job done and keeps us going day after day in Paladugu.
