Our place, A-115 - Owens Corning Industries (india) Pvt. Ltd., is situated out in Village Thimmapur. It’s in the Kothur mandal of Mahbubnagar district. It is a bit of a journey to get out here from the main city, but it is much quieter than being in the middle of Hyderabad. The factory is a big part of the local area. When you drive through Thimmapur, you can't really miss it. We have a lot of people from the nearby villages who work with us. The work involves a lot of technical stuff and big industrial machines. Every morning, the buses bring in the shifts, and the whole place comes to life. It’s a very different vibe from a city office. There is a lot of open space around the facility, but inside, it is all about manufacturing. We focus on getting the technical details right. It can be a long day, especially when the weather is hot, which it often is in Mahbubnagar. We have our routines and our safety protocols that everyone has to follow strictly. The facility is large, and walking from one end to the other takes a good few minutes. We don’t have any fancy shops nearby, so we mostly stick to the canteen for our breaks. It’s a steady kind of life out here in Thimmapur. We just focus on our specific part of the industry and try to keep things running smoothly without any big problems.
