S B Memorial Hospital

We are located right in Laxmi Nagar Bhilai, which is a pretty busy spot most days. S B Memorial Hospital isn't one of those giant places you see in the movies. It is more of a local spot where the people from the nearby blocks come when they aren't feeling well. The street outside can get a bit noisy with all the traffic in Bhilai, but once you step inside, it is a bit quieter. I usually start my shift by checking if the water cooler is full because people drink a lot of it while they wait. The chairs in the lobby have been there for years and they are still holding up okay. We know most of the people who walk through the doors by their first names. It feels more like a community center sometimes because neighbors end up chatting with each other while waiting for the doctor. The morning shift is always the most hectic part of the day for us. We have to make sure all the files are in the right place before the first patient walks in at eight. It isn't always perfect here, sometimes the power goes out for a second or the printer jams up, but we figure it out. Laxmi Nagar is a good place to be and we are just glad to be part of the daily life around here for everyone.
