Ram Kripa Industries

Our place, Ram Kripa Industries, is located in Dhourabhata over in Bhatapara. If you know where the Sidh Baba Mandir is, then you are pretty much right at our doorstep. It is a busy area, especially in the mornings when the temple bells are ringing and the trucks start arriving. We do a lot of heavy lifting here, mostly processing and making sure the supplies are ready for the market. It gets really hot in the shed during the summer months, but we have some big fans that help a little bit. The floor is mostly concrete and we have to keep it clear so the trolleys can move around without hitting anything. My brother and I manage the daily stuff, while our workers handle the machinery. There is always a lot of noise, so you have to shout a bit if you want to be heard over the grinders. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner with all the ledgers piled up. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard on the tin roof that you can't hear yourself think. We just keep working through it. We get our raw materials from the local mandi and try to get everything processed and packed before the sun goes down. It is a straightforward life, and we like being near the temple because it makes the morning feel a bit more peaceful before the real work starts.
