Krishna Foods

Our place is over in Village Surajpura, right near the post office in the Bhatapara area. It is actually quite easy to find because we are so close to the Government Gajanand Agrawal Post Graduate College. You can often see the students walking by in groups or sitting under the trees nearby during their breaks. Being in a village setting means things are a bit slower than in the big cities, which suits us just fine. Krishna Foods handles a lot of the local produce that comes through this part of the tehsil. The building is a simple structure that gets quite warm in the summer months, so we usually have the fans going full blast from early morning. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers and the people from the college who stop in. There is always some dust in the air because of the trucks moving on the main road, and the sound of the college bell marks our day more than any clock does. The staff here mostly lives in the village or just a short cycle ride away. We have a small porch where we sit for ten minutes in the evening once the sun starts going down. It is not a high-tech operation, just a lot of hard work and making sure the bags are stacked correctly before the rains come.
