Maa Sharda Besan Private Limited

Maa Sharda Besan is a small business run by Sarvesh Kumar Jaiswal. We are located in Bedalipura, in the Sictour area, near the Maniram post office on Nautanwa Road. As the name says, we are all about besan. We take the chana dal and we grind it down to make the flour. It is a noisy job because the machines are quite loud, but that is the sound of work getting done. The air in the unit is always a bit dusty with the flour, so we are used to that. Nautanwa Road is a busy route, so we get a lot of trucks passing by. We don't have a big corporate structure. Sarvesh looks after most of the things himself with a little help from a few others. We just focus on getting the grinding right so the besan is the way it should be. It’s a basic product that every household uses for pakoras or laddoos. We don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It’s just good, plain gram flour. We pack it into bags and send it off to the local markets. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just how it is in this area. We’ve been here for a while and the local people know they can come to us for their supply. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we take it seriously.
