Mariya Earth Movers

We have been here in Tol for a good while now. It’s a quiet spot in Mahad, but we stay pretty busy with all the machines coming and going. Most days start early because the sun gets hot quick out here in Raighar. We just handle the earth moving stuff, mostly tractors and excavators. The yard gets a bit dusty when it hasn't rained, but that's just how it is with this kind of work. Sometimes people stop by just to ask directions or chat about the weather. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a place where we keep the gear and make sure things are running. The road out front can get a bit narrow when the big trucks are passing each other. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the taluka over the years, more buildings going up and more roads being carved out of the hills. It’s hard work, and your hands usually end up covered in grease by noon, but it’s what we do. My cousin helps out sometimes with the paperwork when it gets too much for me. We try to keep the equipment in decent shape because if a machine breaks down, nobody’s making any money that day. The local tea stall down the road keeps us going in the afternoons. It’s a simple life here in the village, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, do the job, and go home.
