Sunshine School

Sunshine School is over at 1-716, Nethaji Chowk in Jadcherla. Being right at the chowk means there is always something going on outside our doors. It’s a busy part of the town with people coming and going all the time. Our school building is a modest one, nestled among the other shops and houses in the area. We have several classrooms spread out over a couple of floors. The stairs are a bit narrow, so the kids have to be careful when they go up and down. We don't have a lot of extra room, but we manage to fit everyone in. The teachers spend most of their day in the classrooms, and you can hear the sound of lessons drifting out into the hallway. During the breaks, the students go out to the small courtyard we have. It’s a noisy time but it’s part of the day. We have a small desk at the front where we keep the registers and the mail. Most of the families who send their children here live within walking distance, so there is a lot of chatting at the gate during pickup time. We are just a normal school doing what we can with what we have. There aren’t any high-tech gadgets here, just books, boards, and benches. It’s a practical place for kids to get their schooling done without any distractions.
