Sri Venkateswara Agencies is located at 2-8-12 in Monappagutta, which is part of the Ravinder Nagar area. We have been working out of this same building for quite a long time now. Most of our mornings start with the sound of the heavy metal shutters being rolled up. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always someone passing by or a truck trying to park in the narrow space outside. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of goods. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep the air moving. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the summer months. Our daily routine is basically checking lists and moving boxes around. We aren't a big corporation with departments; it’s just a few of us doing the work. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the desk, but we manage to find everything eventually. People from Ravinder Nagar know us well and they often stop by just to say hello or ask how things are going. We don’t do much advertising because word of mouth in a place like Monappagutta is usually enough. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We just keep the place running as best as we can. It’s hard work, and we are usually quite tired by the time we lock up for the evening.
