Nanda Gopala Raw & Boiled Rice Mill

We are over at Pl.No.33/18 in Vijaya Gopala Puram, right in the Nawabpet area. Our place is called Nanda Gopala Raw & Boiled Rice Mill. We have been running this mill for quite a few years now, focusing on both raw and boiled rice. It is a noisy place once the machines get going, and there is always plenty of dust in the air from the husks, but that is just how a rice mill works. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It is just the mill floor and the storage area where we keep the bags ready for the local people. We spend most of our time checking the grain and making sure the boilers are running right for the boiled rice batches. It takes a lot of effort to get everything just right, but we have a good routine down now. Most folks in Nawabpet know where we are located. We do not do any big advertising or use fancy websites to get customers. People just stop by because they need their rice for the week or month. It is a very simple, local operation. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, especially when it gets busy during the harvest months. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing a belt or a motor. That is just part of the daily life here at the mill in Vijaya Gopala Puram.
