Laxmi Spun Pipes Industry is located right on the NH 44. You can find us in Kanimetta Village, which is part of the Kothakota Mandal in Mahabubnagar. Because we are right on the highway, we see thousands of cars and trucks zoom past every single day. We make those big concrete spun pipes that you see being used for drainage and roads. Our yard is filled with these massive gray circles stacked on top of each other. It is a very industrial-looking place, and there is a lot of heavy machinery involved in spinning the concrete. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt, and it can get very dusty when the wind blows across the Mahabubnagar plains. We don't have a fancy lobby or air-conditioned offices. It is a hot, outdoor kind of job. We spend most of our time checking the molds and making sure the pipes are curing correctly under the sun. It is a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty with wet cement. We have been at this Kothakota location for a while, and the highway makes it easy for the big trailers to come and pick up the pipes.
