Gokul Bricks

Our yard is over at 514, Krishna Nagar. If you’ve ever been down this way, you probably saw the stacks of bricks from the street. Gokul Bricks is just a local spot where we deal with the daily grind of moving heavy stuff. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a nice air-conditioned office. Most of the time, we are outside in the yard or under the small tin roof near the entrance. The neighbors in Krishna Nagar are used to the sound of trucks coming and going. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s home for us. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been helping here for years, so we all know the routine pretty well by now. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. We just focus on keeping the stacks organized and making sure the counts are right when we load up. It’s honest work, even if it’s tiring when the sun is out in full force. We keep a ledger for the sales and try not to let the paperwork get too messy. The fan in the corner of the office makes a weird clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. It’s just us, some bricks, and a lot of hard work every single day.
