You can find our office right near Krishnaveni Chowk in Gadwal. We are located very close to the KBS Bank, at house number 1-4-2/4A. It is a very handy location because almost everyone in town knows where the bank is. Our office itself is not very large at all. It is just a simple ground floor space where we keep our metal filing cabinets and desks. Most of our members live in the streets right around here. They just walk over when it is time for the monthly chit meeting or to pay their dues. We spend a lot of our time checking the numbers and chatting with the folks who come in. It gets a bit loud when the market is busy just outside the door. We have a very simple setup inside. There are just some wooden benches for people to wait on and a long table where we do all the paperwork. The old fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise but it keeps the air moving. We have been a part of this Gadwal community for quite a while now. People trust us because they see us every day at the market. We are not trying to be some big city financial firm. We just run the chit funds for the local families here. Sometimes we sit and have a coffee together while we talk about the latest auction results. It is a steady pace for us.
