Alluminium Skrap

Our scrap yard is located at 6-1-80 Ganesh Nagar. At Alluminium Skrap, we spend our days surrounded by big piles of metal that have been brought in from all over the city. It is certainly not the cleanest job you could find, but it is the work we know how to do. We get all kinds of things dropped off here, from old aluminum window frames and soda cans to kitchen pots and various industrial scraps. Every single item has to be sorted by hand and then put on the scales to get the weight right. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around using our old trolleys. We have been here in Ganesh Nagar for a long time, and most of the people in the neighborhood know exactly where to find our gate. The shop front is very basic, just a simple metal gate and a large scale on the floor. We do not have a fancy logo or a big painted sign. People just know us as the place to bring their scrap metal. It gets very noisy when we are crushing things down or loading the big collection trucks, but we are used to it. Some days are very slow, and we just spend that time organizing the different piles. Other days, we have a line of people waiting. We do not use computers for much, just our scales and a notebook to keep track of the daily business.
