The garage is over in New Mothinagar, specifically at 1-1-9/F/1. If you live around here, you probably know the street. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when too many cars show up at once. We usually have hoods up and parts scattered on the floor by noon. My clothes are almost always stained with oil, which my family hates, but that’s the job. We fix whatever comes in, from old scooters to the newer cars that have all those confusing electronics. Most of the time it’s just basic maintenance, but occasionally we get a real puzzle that keeps us up late. We have a few benches and some old tools that have seen better days but they still work just fine. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or fancy coffee. Usually, customers just stand around and chat while we work or they go grab a tea nearby. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof during the summer months. When it rains, the water drips from one corner of the roof where we haven't managed to fix the leak yet, so we have to move the tool chest out of the way. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back, though you can barely hear it over the sound of the traffic on the main road. We’re not looking to expand into a big franchise. We just want to keep the local cars running and make enough to pay the bills.
