Sai Shankara Travels

Sai Shankara Travels is based out of Sarwapuram Thanda near the Annaram Post office. We spend most of our time on the road or checking the vehicles to make sure they are okay to drive. Being in the travel business means we don't have a fixed schedule like people who work in offices. Sometimes we are leaving very early in the morning when it is still dark and other times we are coming back late at night. The roads around Sarwapuram Thanda can be a bit bumpy so we have to be careful with the tires and the suspension. We don't have a big fleet of cars, just what we need to get people where they are going. Usually people call us or come by the house when they need a ride to the city or a nearby village. We keep a notebook to track who needs to go where. It is a lot of sitting behind the wheel and watching the road. We try to keep the cars clean but with the dust around Annaram it is a daily job to wipe them down. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything corporate like that. We are just local people providing a way for others to travel. It’s a simple business and we’ve been doing it for some time now. We know the shortcuts and the best places to stop for tea. That’s just our life here at Sai Shankara Travels.
