Narayana Milk Supply

We are based at 1-10 in Vemnoor. Our whole day revolves around milk. It starts very early in the morning, usually while it’s still dark outside. We have to get the milk sorted and ready for the people who rely on it. It’s a small operation here. We don't have big delivery trucks, just a few local ways to get the milk to the houses. Vemnoor is a small place, so we know our route very well. It’s mostly just making sure the milk is fresh and gets where it needs to go on time. If we are late, people notice right away because they need it for their tea or for the kids. The work is steady and doesn't change much from one season to the next. Even when it’s raining or very hot, the milk still has to move. We don't spend much time in an office; we are usually out doing the actual work. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping things going. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us by name and where we live. It’s a basic service but people need it every day. I often walk the routes myself if the bike isn't working. It’s a lot of early mornings and heavy lifting, but we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. We just want to make sure the village gets its supply.
