Suvvamma Mala

Over here in Pareval village, the days seem to move a lot slower than they do in the bigger towns. Suvvamma Mala is based right out of the house at H. No. 1-33/1. It is pretty easy to find if you are from around this part of Makthal Mandal. We do not have a big shop front with signs or anything like that. It is just the place where we live and get our work done. Usually, you will find me sitting out on the porch or just inside the main front room where it is a bit darker and cooler. There is always a lot of bird noise in the early mornings because of the big trees growing nearby. We see the same familiar people every single day as they pass by on the red dirt road outside. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to ask for a glass of cold water or to say a quick hello before moving on. The house stays relatively cool because of how thick the walls were built, which is a good thing when the afternoon sun is high. We don't have any fancy machines or expensive equipment here. It is just the basic stuff we need to get the daily tasks finished. Sometimes the power goes out for hours, and we just sit and talk in the shade until the lights come back on. It is quiet here, and we have grown to like it that way. The district is quite large, but our little corner feels small and comfortable. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but right here at home.
