Sri Venkateshwara General Engineering Works\Sri Venkateshwara Industries

Sri Venkateshwara General Engineering Works is right near the Collector Bunglow X Road. Our full name is a bit of a mouthful, including Sri Venkateshwara Industries, but most people just know the location at 1 6 139 1 A. Being near the crossroad makes it easy for people to find us, even if the traffic is a bit much. We do general engineering. That means a bit of everything, really. If it is made of metal and it needs fixing or welding, we probably do it. The shop is usually a bit disorganized. We have parts from different jobs scattered around. It is how we know where everything is, though. It might look messy to someone else, but it works for us. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat. The Collector Bunglow is a landmark that everyone uses for directions. We have been at this spot for quite a while now. The workers here are like family. We eat lunch together and complain about the humidity. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just try to get the work done right so the customer doesn't have to come back twice. Sometimes it is a simple welding job, and other times it is something more complicated that takes all day. We just take it as it comes and try to stay busy. It is an honest way to spend the day.
